Back To School Makeup | With PrettyLittleThings

Hey beauts! Summer time is coming to an end and sadly school is just around the corner! To brighten up the mood me and my bestfriend Leah decided to share with you guys our back to school makeup in order to help you put your best face forward for a new school year.

For school as you can probably tell I do like to keep my make up pretty natural and not wear a lot of it. If you are lucky enough to be able to wear makeup to school then feel free to add your own steps into this look.

To school I don't wear foundation as I hate the feel of it on my skin especially if I have PE that day. I do still want a decent amount of coverage so instead I op for a tinted moisturiser.. I have been loving my Nivea Tinted Moisturiser(new addition to my collection!) This is definitely aimed at pink toned skin so I don't recommend it if you have more yellow toned skin.

I won't go on to much here because I always talk about my Collection  Lasting Perfection concealer. I just love the coverage it gives. Some days I will actually wear this alone without a tinted moisturiser as it can definitely pull of as a full face of mak eup!

Mascara is a must have, right? I love my Dior mascara as it does everything a mascara should do, I specially love the fact this doesn't go on clumpy. Without mascara I honestly look ill..not a look I'm personally aiming for.

For powder I just keep it simple with my Dior foundation powder - this gives a bit of coverage whilst also matting my makeup(bonus if you have oily skin). I have actually hit pan on this which means very soon I will need to buy a new one.

I love highlighting for some reason. It's something I do every single day. As usual I am using my MUA undress your skin highlighter - its so beautiful. Incase your wondering I just highlight the usual places e.g. Cheek bones, jaw lines and brow bones..not forgetting the nose!

I actually have no eyebrows if I don't fill them in, so filling in my brows is a huge must have! I use the Benefit Brow pencil in light. It's literally the perfect shade! I have spent so long hunting for the perfect brow pencil and I finally have! This comes with a spooly on the end so you can tame your brows aswell as fill them in.

I'm actually not suppost to wear makeup to school so I keep things pretty neutral however I do like to wear a lipbalm/pale lipstick most days. Lately I've been loving my Baby Lips in Peach Kisses as it gives off a slight tint without being hugely obvious.

That's my school makeup look, what's yours? Did I miss out any vital steps?

Makeup Revolution London Palette

Hey beauts! Today I have a review on the Makeup Revolution London Palette(a naked 3 dupe). I bought this about a week ago and have been using it every day since. Ever since the naked 3 palette was released I've had my eye on it but never got round to buying it.   ..

The shadows are such beautiful colours and there all pigmented, they have such a lovely creamy texture not forgetting that they glide on so easily. I have worn these eye shadows with and without an eye primer, I will say the colours do come through more with a primer but other than that it doesn't matter whether you wear one or not.

Creasing? I hate shadows that crease, it doesn't look pretty at all. I was worried that these shadows would crease because it was super cheap and I did jump to conclusions and think they would.. I take it back completely. I have worn colours from this palette from 12pm to about 9pm at night and even after nine hours wear the shadows hadn't budged or creased!

Price? I'd barely say by purchasing this product you'd be breaking the bank as its £4!! You could buy this palette with the spare change left over in your purse! Revolution also had foundations for £2 which  I am yet to try not forgetting their gorgeous lipsticks for £1 - I did have a cheeky swatch of a few in the shop and they were so creamy and pigmented!

Would you guys like to see more reviews on products from Revolution?

Bath Time Favourites

Hello lovelies! Like most others I enjoy a good old bath. I have a routine set in place for my indulgent evenings and well, let’s just say there’s quite the line-up of skin, hair and body treats that join me.

Without a doubt I always light a candle when running a bath its the ultimate way to relax, my favourite right now is the Pineapple Cilantro by Yankee - its such a gorgeous fruity scent. Due to my mums huge obsession with Yankee Candles I'm never short of them.

While the bath tub is filling up I use my usual cleanser(Mary Kay Cleanser), then I go in with a relaxing dead sea mud mask these are perfect if you want to brighten up your skin and cleanse your pores. I usually opt for Superdrugs own as it does an amazing job and my skin doesn't react badly for once! It works in such a short amount of time and is super affordable.

Before I jump in the bath I pop in a lush bath bomb or crumble in some bubble bar. Once I'm finally ready to get in the bath I go ahead and wash my body with Soap&Glorys 'Clean on me' body wash. This is so lovely and creamy and leaves a lovely scent lingering on my skin afterwards. Of course I have to go to the extra mile and shave my legs*the effort of being a lady*, I usually opt for the Veet shaving cream in the scent 'Rose'. I like to exfoliate after shaving as it helps get rid of any dead skin that may occur, I have always used the 'Scrub of my life' by Soap&Glory as I love the way it turns all foamy*big kid at heart*.

Hair timeeee! For my shampoo&conditioner I use the V05 heat defence shampoo because every bit of heat defence counts! I only apply conditioner to the ends of my hair as sometimes if I apply it to my roots my hair looks super shiny the next day. Once I am out the bath I go in with some argon oil on the ends of my hair as the ends are quite dry&often need reviving.

Last but not least a good old body butter, I don't think a bath is complete without moisturising afterwards. I am absolutely in love with the Soap&Glory 'Sugar Crush' body butter. It smells amazing..wait no devine, yes that's it, it smells devine. It smells like cheesecake to me, I do have to stop myself from eating it. The scent lingers for hours upon hours afterwards which is a bonus - I wish they'd bring out a perfume version!
So yummy.

Have you tried any of these products? Do you think I've left anything out, if so what?
