Wishlist #2 | Christmas Edition!

Hey beauts!

Since it's coming up to Christmas time like most others I have been doing a lot of online shopping and have put together my own little wish list of things I would love for Christmas! I've also been putting aside ideas for up coming Christmas Gift Guides *get excited!* Most of the stuff is from Boohoo but that's purely just because I've really been loving their autumn/winter stock!

 1.  Boohoo - Leather Skirt.
I have never owned a leather skirt or trousers and I'm really intrigued to try one. I think this would look so cute to a Christmas/New Years party with the top it's actually paired with and the boots shown in no.3.

2. Boohoo - Floral Playsuit.
I really love florals even at this time of the year. I think this playsuit is the perfect colour to be worn around this time too. Although I will probably freeze in this! This would look gorgeous with a leather jacket!

3. Primark - Chelsea Boots.
I feel like every girl should own a pair of Chelsea boots, there so easy to pair with endless amounts of outfits! These ones aren't too high which is great because I'm not the best walker in heels.

4. Dagenham Market - Olaf Jumper.
Who doesn't Olaf?! There's something about Olaf that makes me feel so warm inside. This jumper isn't the best Christmas jumper but it has Olaf on so I couldn't not include this!

5. Boohoo - Velvet Swing Dress.
I saw this is Zoe's Boohoo haul and instantly wanted this! It would again look so cute with the Chelsea Boots. The only problem I'd have with this is I'm a bit funny with velvet and sometimes I like the feel but sometimes I don't so I don't know how I'd get on with this.

6. Boohoo - Grey baggy top.
Baggy tops.. again! I just cant help myself. They go with so much I feel like I need a million in my closet. This one particularly caught my eye because the material looks so soft!

That's everything in my wish list! What have you got your eyes this season?

Someday | BloggersGroupHug

Hey lovelies! So Jade from JaseyJade got the idea for us bloggers to write about one word each week. Jade will send you the word every Sunday and you have until the upcoming Saturday to upload that post! The post must be 200words maximum, enjoy!

Someday:

When I think of the word 'Someday' I think of it in a positive way! 'Someday I'll be able to do a job I love' Of course there's the sad side to the meaning of someday but I always think it of as a positive word!  Someday isn't a word that's used that often, with GCSE's  in mind I have found myself saying 'Someday' a lot. Me and my mum keep talking about them and I keep saying 'Someday I'll get to do a job I love'

Lipglosses VS Lipsticks!

Swatches from left to right ;Lipsticks;  Rimmel London 107, MUA Bare, Topshop Whimsical, Lip-glosses: Dior A08, Barry M 223,Tanya Burr Chic

Hey beauts!

I like most others often find myself differing between lip-glosses or lipsticks, which one do I go for?
I put together a few of my favourites from each category and Im going to tell you all which I prefer!

Lip-glosses are a good old favourite of mine, when I was younger and put on my mums makeup I always went for Lip-glosses, mainly because it didn't stain things as easy.

As I've got more and more into makeup Lip-glosses haven't been my go to thing as much as they once were. I just don't like the pigmentation of them or the stickiness!
I'm always super quick to judge with lip-gloss and don't even give it a second look, however since Tanya released her range I had to get some of her collection and this made me think that I should probably give some other brands a chance too.

Now I use lip-glosses as much as I use any other lip product, I actually really like wearing lip-gloss over matte lipsticks for a stunning glossy effect

I know there's not one of you reading this that doesn't look a good pigmented lipstick -argh I just love lipsticks. Whether its a beautiful nude or a stunning burgundy, I love them all - within reason!

Lipsticks in my eyes are far more worth the money than a lip-gloss, they're so much more pigmented and not as sticky. I love how you can have matte, sheer, wet look lipsticks.

There's so many different types and it makes me want to burst with excitement. There's nothing I love more than swatching lipsticks on the back of my hand for hours on end - which in some cases is a big statement as my clothes also end up with lipstick on them!

I think my favourite has to be Lipsticks! I've always been more of a lipstick girl. What do you prefer?

If your a blog designed please do get in touch as I'm looking for a new blog design asap!

Best of Maybelline | Drugstore Beauty

Hey beauts♥

Know we all know I cannot keep up a series if somebody paid me, however I've had the Best Of (insert brand here) idea in my head for donkeys now. I decided that this was a series I would enjoy doing and would hopefully be able to keep up. I already have taken photos for the upcoming editions of this series.

Throughout this series I will pick out a few of my favourites from the brand  I have chosen and share my reasons for loving them with you!

Today I thought we'd start of with Maybelline as this was a brand that never really bothered me but lately I've found myself always appearing at there stand in Boots/Superdrug!

Are you surprised to see the dream pure BB cream in here? No. Didn't think so. This is my favourite BB EVER, I would choose this over any high end BB cream, if you want to see a full review then click here. To save me rambling on about this AGAIN.

The Maybelline Better Skin foundation has been an absolute life saver when my skins been horrid, the coverage on this is like no other. I hardly ever find a foundation that can make my skin look flawless without having to pay for it after with horrendous blemishes!

My mum actually recommended the 24hour color lacquer to me and I'm so glad she did. This literally lasts 24hours! I've this on in the morning and accidently fallen asleep with it on at night before and in the morning it hadn't even budged. Most lipsticks etc. fade away the second I sip at a drink but this one doesn't. Did I mention how pigmented this is???

I know, I know I'm super late on the hype with the Maybelline color tattoos.. Why didn't somebody make me more aware of these before?! Since buying this back in September I've been nonstop wearing it whenever I get the chance to. This acts as such a great eye shadow base or a gorgeous crease colour, it has such beautiful pigmentation.
There all the things I have been loving from Maybelline lately! What have you been loving from Maybelline?
Which brand would you like me to do next?

My travel picks | Makeup Brushes

Hey beauts!

We all know when it comes to travelling and packing makeup brushes there's very big decisions to be made.. how many to take? which ones? do I really need that brush?

I always find myself in this situation and after a lot humming and arghing I came to a decision on what brushes to take and I thought I would share them with you.

Face:

Real Techniques blusher brush: This is my all time favourite brush and it has so many uses! I use this for blush*obviously*, powder, contour! By taking this brush it means you have to take a million less brushes!

Dior highlighting brush:  I got this brush last year with a whole set of brushes and at first I wasn't that amused because it malted quite a bit but after one wash it stopped malting... thank god. I use this to highlight the tops of my cheeks and forehead.

Primark powder foundation brush: This is meant for powder foundation but I think it works even better with liquid and that's exactly what I use it for, I do also use it for setting powder every now then. This is actually one of my favourite brushes believe it or not!

Eyes:

Dior eyebrow brush: Eyebrow brushes are essential for everybody in my eyes, that is of course only if you fill them in! This is an angled eye shadow brush and I just find it very easy to use.

Real Techniques all over base brush: This brush is such a loved brush throughout the whole blogging community and I too am one of them bloggers that love this brush!  I sometimes even use this for contouring smaller areas i.e. my nose.

Real Techniques deluxe crease brush: This is a rather large eye shadow brush so its not useful for much other than blending in eye shadow. However it does an amazing job of that!

Real Techniques eyeliner brush: I use a lot of gel liner over liquid eyeliner and I often find the brushes too stiff however this is one is firm but flexible enough to get the wing eye look.

There the brushes I would take away with me, have I left any out? which brushes would you take and why?, let me know in the comments.

CHRISTMAS IS NEAR

Hello beauts!

ARGHHHH! Not going to lie but I'm so excited for Christmas this year.*as usual*... me and my mum are currently discussing Christmas plans and present ideas! Some of you may think its too early to even be thinking about Christmas but me and my family certainly don't!

I'm far too excited and I feel like I have to write all my Christmas plans down to release the tiniest amount of excitement before I burst!

This year I am taking things to the next level and getting myself some Christmas bedding... A new Christmas bedroom tree, does anybody else have a mini Christmas tree for their bedroom?. I've also started to light some very Christmasy(is this a word?) scented candles!

This year for Christmas we are going to our old family friend Danielle&Steves house, we have known them for about ten years because me and their youngest son Ben who is my age went to nursery together and we had our first love together*aww*. Usually we spend Christmas at home however we're going to theirs this year and I'm super excited about it!

Yes I've already wacked out my Christmas playlist on Spotify and I have already watched elf and The Gringe not forgetting home alone countless of times these past few months!

I cant wait for the Christmas Specials on Christmas morning whilst opening gifts! Me and my sister wake up very early on Christmas day so my mum lets us open our stockings whilst she's asleep so that we don't disturb her for a little while longer!

I know this was a bit of a ramble but I'm so excited for Christmas! Can you tell?
Be expecting some super Christmas themed posts!

What are your Christmas plans this year?

Makeup for begginers! | Budget Beauty

Hey beauts! So today I have put together a post for all of you who are just starting to use makeup and aren't too sure on which products you should be using! When I first started using makeup there wasn't any post of this sort around and I could have really used one to be fair! All the makeup included is super affordable!

BB CREAM:

If your new to makeup I would not recommend jumping  into foundation straight away, I still find it hard to wear foundation now after a few years of wearing makeup! I personally recommend the Maybelline pure dream bb cream, any bb cream would be a great product to start of with!

CONCEALER:

This is a good old favourite of mine the collection lasting perfect concealer! If your not into bb creams then you could very easily wear this concealer alone! This is great for highlighting under your eyes and covering the horrid blemishes that nobody wants to see! However there isn't a lot of shades to choose from so if your between shades like me then you have to make a choice of one...or both!

POWDER:

This is a new addition to my makeup collection and I don't think I'll go back to Rimmels stay matte powder again. The packaging of this collection one is so sturdy! I have dropped this so many times and it has cracked or scratched! This also comes with a mirror and a little makeup sponge inside!

BROWS:

I think brows are one of the most important things and you definitely need a good eyebrow gel! I really like the Rimmel London brow gel in blonde. This makes your brows look super natural whilst filling them in too! Again if your new to makeup using brow wax and powder might be a bit of your league.

MASCARA:

So because I wanted to make this affordable I chose an old mascara for mine to include. I really the w7 flirty eyes mascara, this is a dupe for the benefit they're real. Which I use everyday! W7 makeup cant be found everywhere but when you do discover it, its worth picking up.

LIPSTICK:

Lipstick is definitely one of the most easiest products to work with whether your new to makeup or not!  I love nudes right now so I'm including my MUA nude lipstick in bare.  Please be careful when your choosing  a nude lipstick because you don't want the foundation looking lips going on.. its not attractive!

Today I didn't included things like contour/eyeshadow because I didn't want to throw too much at you all at once! Is there any products you'd recommend for beginner's? comment it down below!

I need a new blog design!

Hello lovelies! So last night I was editing my blog and I realised how much I disliked my current blog template, its been bugging me for a while now.

If your a blog/template designer then leave a comment down below! If I feel like your template fits the shabby chique look I'm looking for then in return I will give you 6months free advertising of your own blog/company on the sidebar of my blog!

There's something about a new blog template every now and then that makes me feel a lot more confident in my blog. I like to keep it updated and I don't like it to be the same old design for months on end as I know that's not very interesting for you all.

Maybelline Dream Pure BBcream | Review

Hey beauts! I've been using this BB cream for about the last two months now and I've completely fallen in love!

Obviously BB creams aren't designed to give you coverage however this one does give of a slight hint of coverage, not majorly but I'm not disappointed because I didn't expect it too. My skin can be quite red when its breaking out and this helps even out my skin tone so much.

Maybelline were quite clever and they have two types of this BB cream, the blue on(for oily skin) and the pink one(which I think is for a glowing face!) I usually find it so hard to find a BB cream that fits my skin needs because of how fussy it is!

This BB cream feels so weightless and I barely notice it on my skin when I'm wearing it! It does majorly reduce how oily my skin is! It also doesn't make it even more oily which is definitely a good thing!

A lot of people said this didn't last as long as others do however I disagree, when its used with the right primer I don't see the problem. I haven't tried it without a primer so I wouldn't know what its like without a primer!

Although this one is cheaper than the pink one, only buy a pound but I don't know why!
You can buy this //here// or //here// . If you buy it then let me know what you think below or if you've tried it yourself!
