March Favourites

It's almost Easter and I haven't done nearly half of my resolutions, I honestly feel like I blink then a second later I'm back with ANOTHER monthly favourites. This month I've discovered more  old faves than new.

Neutrogena 2-in-1 Wash&Mask - This is most definitely my favourite, favourite from this month. Since using this my skin has cleared up SO MUCH. It works amazingly as both a wash and mask, I can fault it in anyway. As a mask its really cooling and pulls anything horrid from beneath your skin so when you wash this off your skin looks and feels clean and new.

Rimmel London Match Perfection - This was my first foundation that I bought when I first got into makeup and  I don't know why I forgot about it for so long. If you have oily skin then this is the one for you. This gives off such a beautiful matte look with a hint of duey looking skin.

Simple Toner - I only recently got back into toning my skin due to laziness. Since I started again my skin has improved a lot. It's felt cleaner and fresher. I love toning morning and night followed my a moisturiser.

Soap & Glory flake away - As it's finally spring time that has meant tanning is a new must have before I start getting my legs out any time soon. Before I tan I always exfoliate using quite a harsh exfoliator. I only recently discovered S&G flake away. This has helped keep dead skin away and helps my tan glide on so nicely.

Tanya Burr, Chic - I've missed wearing this so much!! Throughout autumn and winter I forgot about my peach/pink lip colours. Therefore the second it got to March I whacked them all out. The one I have been wearing the most is one of Tanyas. Her lipglosses smell and look amazing.

MUA nail varnishes - I'm currently off school for easter so with two weeks to do what I want I've been painting my nails all sorts of colours. About 3weeks ago I dug up some of last years varnishes. When I came across these two beautiful shades. Mint green - pistachio ice cream, coral - sweet peach. MUAs polishes are amazing quality and they're a POUND.

Chocolate Cookies Recipe

I'm pretty sure you all know who Tanya Burr is and have seen her many of times feature her chocolate cookies in blog posts and videos. Today me and my step sister Blythe decided we fancied making them for our self. These honestly are the most gooey, chocolaty cookies full of calories but totally worth it.

To make 10 cookies you will need:

200g butter
300g caster sugar
1 large egg
275g self-raising flour
75g cocoa powder(optional)
A little dash of milk
A large bar of white and dark chocolate

Pop on your apron and pre-heat your oven to 200 degrees celsius. Whizz together your butter and sugar, until you are left with a smooth mixture. If your butters a little colder it will take a little longer so I recommend letting your butter be a little warmer.

Next you have to crack in your egg - not getting egg shells in your mixture. Its been done before.

Now you can add all your other dry ingredients, blending it together until it lumps free. If you do end up with a dry mixture then just add a dash of milk.

Time for the real fun, chocolate time!! Break up all your chocolate and pop it in the bowl.

Once the chocolate has been added, grab two trays and line them with foil or baking paper, they both work. Use your hands to create ten chocolaty blobs.

Once you've created all your chocolaty blobs, place them in your oven at for 11 minutes. Tanya does actually state that you should not cook these for longer than 11 minutes. When you get them out I can warn you they wont look cooked but after 3o minutes of cooling time they will!

That's your cookies done! After the 30 minutes, I recommend eating one straight away as they're still gooey on the inside and a little bit warm.

I hope you enjoy making them and eating them!

Transition into spring | Makeup

Hey lovelies. Today I decided that it would be a nice idea to share with you all some of the products I enjoy using when I am transitioning my makeup from winter to spring.  When it comes to spring I'm a real sucker for a peach lip and a good old highlight.

Throughout Winter I don't really use highlighter as much because I like my makeup to look more bronzed and matte. That being said the second it hits Spring I'm all about the highlighters, I own about six but these two are my  favourites. I'm definitely more of a pink under toned highlighter girl. MUAs undress your skin highlighter contains little specks of shimmer so this is perfect for a night time look. Benefits high beam is more natural looking on my skin, which creates a stunning dewy look for the day.

I'm so horridly pale that during winter/autumn a lot of my darker lipsticks can drown me out. Spring gives me the chance to whack out my coral/nude/peach/pink shades without looking ghostly. These are my two staple lip colours for spring this year. Tanya Burrs lip gloss in Chic is the perfect peach/nude for a natural lip colour. If I want something a tiny bit bolder then I will be opting for my Revolution lipstick in luscious.

I know previously I said bronzed looks where my winter thing but in the summer I love the look of an all over glow and contour. The Natural Collection bronzer is perfect for a sun kissed look all over the face. Where as the Hoola bronzer I use for contour and bronzing my cheeks. These are both matte bronzers and really buildable.

As it starts to warm up I'm always a little wary of wearing heavy foundations as I don't want them to slipping and sliding around my face if I begin to sweat. Instead of ditching foundation all together I really recommend the Rimmel Match Perfect one, this is so light and is medium/high coverage. If you have oily skin then get your hands on this. It completely controls my oily skin. If you are willing to leave the foundations behind then of course I am going to recommend Maybelline's Dream Pure BB Cream. This is my all time favourite BB cream and is super light still giving of light/medium coverage.

There all my go to products for transitioning my makeup into spring time!

7 Deadly Sins Of Beauty | Tag!

Hello beauts! I haven't done a tag post in so long, and I haven't got round to doing the photos for them yet due to bad lighting so instead of leaving you with nothing I thought I'd do a tag! Also I'm really sorry about the lack of content recently but I've been so busy and today has been spent drafting a few so I wont be as behind.

GREED:What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?

My most inexpensive item is a MUA lipstick which was only a pound and surprisingly I lurvv it. My most expensive is definitely my Dior blusher which definitely did break a hole in my bank.

WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?

My mac studio tech foundation. At the moment I'm loving it however I don't always. It all depends on how good/bad my skin is.

GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?

Now I know you shouldn't eat your beauty products but I cant help but lick my lips when using the Tanya Burr lip-gloss. It tastes like strawberry laces, you can't blame me!

SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?

Cleansing! If I'm tired or just being lazy then I wont bother cleansing. I don't even feel guilty about it though, which makes it worse I think...

PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?

Filling in my brows and mascara, I can deal with bad skin but having no brows and no lashes is not something I am okay with. This just makes me feel so much better about myself.

LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

Smile, smile, smile!

ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?

Any products that are mattifying, if its going to control my oily skin then feel free to send it my way!

Top 5 | Most repurchased

Hey lovelies. A post I've seen going around a lot on my bloglovin' feed lately is peoples top ten most repurchased. Due to the fact that I'm a real believer in constantly trying new things I didn't have ten things that I religiously re-purchase but I did manage to scrabble together five!

Let the good times roll cleanser(lush)- If you are a lover of popcorn then this is one for you. This cleanser contains little bits of popcorn inside the cleanser, it feels so good. This has helped improve my skin so much! I don't use this a lot as it is quite exfoliating but when I do my skin can't thank me enough. That being said I have gone through four since last summer...

Kate Moss 107(Rimmel London)- Every beauty blogger, their mum and also their nan has this lipstick.  I first discovered this through Zoella, I only intended on buying this for Halloween but when I got home and tried it on, I fell in love. I wear this so much and have through three lots. Which might I add this is the only lipstick I've ever actually used up.

Peach&Mandarin Scented Candle- I guess this is a bit of cheat item because my mum actually repurchases these, but we'll let it go. My mum being the candle hoarder she is couldn't resist picking this up a few months ago whilst in ikea. Since then we've been back purely just for more of these candles.. The scent is so fresh and clean, hence why it lives in the bathroom.

Wake Me Up(Rimmel London)- At first I was a bit meh meh about this product but since learning how to work with it properly I've become obsessed. It gives off such a dewy fresh look, the best part is that it's not orange based either. If my skin ever looks dull then I rely on this foundation to brighten it up and to be honest it never fails me either.

Dream Pure BB Cream(Maybelline)- Bet your not surprised to see this one in here at all, are you? This is up there with my favourite bb creams and I have a fair few. I wont ramble on about this product though because it seems to pop up in all my posts.

That's everything I constantly repurchase, what is something you cant go without?
