September Favourites

Hi beauts. That time of the month has rolled around again where I put together all things I've been loving and have a good old ramble about them all. You're in for a treat today because it was my birthday this month and I've picked up a good few new favourites.

To tell you the truth, I've never been very fond of Maybellines mascaras. They've never really done me any good. However my mum bought me this one a few months ago and it has been sat in my drawer since. Until I went on holiday and was in need of a waterproof mascara. I instantly fell in love with this mascara, it gives my lashes volume and isn't a nightmare to remove!! Despite the horrible coloured packaging, this is a gorgeous mascara.

Obviously by no surprise I'm only just getting round to using a very hyped product. As you can tell by the massive dent in this I've been loving it!! This is the Maybelline color tattoo, in on and on bronze. Coppery/bronze shades have always scared me and I usually steer away from them. However I thought I would give this a go, and I LOVE IT. I have deep blue eyes and this brings the blue out of them so much. This has been my go to eye-shadow every day.

I've never featured hair products on my blog before because they're not really a big priority in my everyday routine. I recently got my hair cut and I've been trying to keep it healthy and prevent split ends. I don't use too much heat on my hair but for when I do I wanted a good heat defence. This particular one is actually superdrugs own, but it's so good. This smells amazing and it leaves my hair looking so sleek and shiny! It was also £1.99 which is such a bargain!!

Now if you know me at all you'll understand my love for tea and baths. So for the body shop to create tea made for baths is a dream come true!! I particularly love green tea and this smells amazing!! You put some of this into the tea strainer and pop it into the bath and let it float around. The smell lingers around in the bath and it makes me feel so super relaxed. I also feel so refreshed after using it!

My friends kindly bought me the Liz Earle cleanse&polish, hot cloth cleanser in a limited edition scent Jasmine&Osmanthus. I've had a fair few testers of this before and have loved it every single time. I've always put off buying it, however after using this for about a month I will definitely repurchase it!! My skin feels amazing after using this to remove my makeup. When I use a micellar water to remove my makeup now my skin looks so clogged up and dirty compared to when I use this. I love using the muslin cloths it comes with as they're so soft and gentle on my skin. I  use this every morning and evening.

That's all for this month!

Autumnal Essentials

Hey beauts! As it's midway through  September I feel completely obliged to start whacking out my autumn wardrobe and the posts too! Firstly, a big apology for the lack in posts recently. I've started GCSEs so I've been trying to get myself back into a routine of school. And secondly a lot of you have been asking when my 'What I got for my birthday' post will be up, I'm not doing one as such this year. Due to the fact that I mainly got money, however expect a large fashion haul coming soon!! Okay, lets crack on.

This ones no surprise, but of course my go to thing in Autumn/Winter is a bubble bath. I'm a sucker for baths all year round although in autumn I feel like its more acceptable to spend that extra hour soaking in bubbles watching a good cringe Netflix series. I love lighting some candles, and just relaxing, especially lately as my minds been so full of stress.

This wouldn't be a Autumn post of mine without something fluffy and warm popping up. Obviously I have to make a fluffy investment around this time of year. Meet this years go to cosy jumper, I have never felt something so soft!! This ones from Topshop and was a total of £22. So its super affordable especially if you're like me and will spend of most of the time in it. I love how simple it looks because it means you can throw it over literally anything!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets shivers down their spine of excitement when they think about getting home from school, wrapping up and grabbing a hot drink listening to it rain outside. I absolutely love it!! Especially if there is a gingerbread latte involved. I'm there anytime, any day of the week.

My love for red/purple lips in Autumn/Winter argh.  I adore pairing a nude eye with a gorgeous deep lip. I feel like it just adds something else to the makeup look you're going for. I own way too many to count, I still often like a nude lip every now and then. However, I wear a red lip as often as I can. From drugstore to high end, any dark lip is for me. I love a matte lipstick as long as it doesn't chap and crack.

What are your Autumn staples?

If a photo is marked * then the photo has come from Pinterest and I do not own any part of that photo. Most photos are not mine due to poor lightening tonight - sorry guys x

Autumnal Feels

Hey lovelies - I'm a huge lover of the cosy months, listening to the sound of rain with a hot chocolate. I particularly love the fashion and the dark lips that goes on, today I thought I would share with you all some of my favourite things about Autumn. This a tag post - this tag was created about two years ago, so as usual I'm VERY late but hey ho. Better late than never.

 1. Favourite thing about Autumn?

The feels. I love that cosy feeling you get when you're snuggled up in a blanket at the weekend, with a hot beverage and Christmas candles lit! As a big kid I always get way excited about Christmas before I should - this also gives me a sense of happiness. Autumn is the season that I always feel confident in for some reason!

2. Favourite drink?

Gingerbread latte, enough said. If you've never felt one of these tingle your taste buds then get yourself down to Costa now. You can buy these in sachets by Nestle, and oh my gawd. I go through about 10 boxes a month during Autumn. This drink just screams Autumn, am I right?

3. Favourite scent/candle?

Anything cinnamon/ginger based. I love strong spice scents in Autumn. By the time it hits September I'm over floral scents and long for something stronger that will linger. Or maybe something fresh would do me - soft cotton by Yankee Candles is always welcome too.

4. Best lipstick?

A dark berry toned lipstick - however I'm still a sucker for a peachy/pink/nude. I love something that will pull my makeup together. I usually opt Rimmel London Kate Moss 107. Every year I've had to buy a new one. Obsessed.

5. Go to moisturiser?

More recently its become Liz Earles SuperSkin moisturiser. I've never suffered with dry skin so my skin never craves moisture more at any time of the year. Although I still do love to switch up my moisturisers for a new season.

6. Go to colours for the eyes?

Either a metallic eye or a mauve toned purple/brown. In winter I tend to focus more on my lips so my eyes are usually quite subtle sometimes even bare. However when I do make an effort that's the look I go for.

7. Favourite music or band/singer to listen to?

I cant really pinpoint one certain type of music or a band because my music taste stays the same all year round. I suppose I get more into Christmas music obviously but other than that nothing changes.

8. Favourite outfit to wear (i.e. boots & a scarf combo)?

Jeans and a cosy jumper. Or pretty dresses with tights and a comfy pair of boots. Anything comfy. I'm all about being comfortable.

9. Autumn treat?

Usually I opt for a new candle, new bedding or a throw. If I'm feeling it I might go for a new winter coat.

10. Favourite place to be?

At home without a doubt with my family. Watching movies, usually a Disney movie(aka Little Mermaid). More often or not I'd be baking with my step sister Blythe. Usually brownies because they're so frickin' good.
