Whats in my makeup bag | BeautyDeprived

Hello beauties!

I'm not sure if I've done one of these posts before or not, however I was in the mood to whack out my makeup bag and share the contents of it with you all regardless. P.S don't expect to be seeing perfectly clean makeup!

I don't actually keep my makeup in bags, its usually in my drawers however lately I have been putting my every day makeup that I reach for into a bag to make life a little easier:).

BASE - For base products lately I've been loving my Maybelline baby skin primer. This is perfect for creating a beautiful flawless look and smoothing out my skin. I use this all the time, if you're a lover of the Benefit porefessional then this will be a winner for you too!
Obviously my Maybelline dream pure BB cream had to make an appearance. I just love this so much! I wear this the most out of all the products in my make-up bag.
This wouldn't be a what's in my makeup bag if the Collection concealer didn't appear.. if you're a beauty addict you'll understand the necessity of having this in your collection.
For powder lately I've been obsessed with my Maybelline Matte maker, this keeps my face shine free pretty much all day with one or two top ups.
The foundation I have been obsessed with lately is again from Maybelline*guilty not guilty*, its the fit me foundation in 115. I won't ramble about this too much as I have a review coming soon!

EYES - Keeping it simple with the eyes, I only have a few products in here at the moment. A goodie but an oldie is the Max Factor mono eyeshadow in Golden Bronze. I love wearing this all over my lid for a quick fix. It's not matte or shimmery, its the perfect in between!
A new found love of mine has been the S&G super cat eyeliner, this makes doing eyeliner so much easier for me and I've been wearing this whenever I can.  Because I only have one brow product in here I didn't want to do a whole category for its lonely self. I love the Rimmel London brow this way eyebrow gel, this is super easy to use and gives of a natural look without my brows looking to full on and harsh.  Usually I would have a lot more mascaras however I've really been loving the Thick&Fast one by S&G lately. This is super natural looking and does everything a mascara should.

CONTOUR - For contour type products I've been adoring the Dandelion blush by Benefit, this is such a stunning colour and looks so pretty on.
The only bronzer I will use lately is the Hoola bronzer, I've spoke about this so many times so wont go on. However I just love how matte and buildable it is.
If you know me, then you'll know my love for Benefits high beam. Its just so natural looking and easy to apply, I love how easy it is to blend as well!

LIPS - For some reason I haven't been into lipsticks at all lately, I don't know if its because my lips have been so dry but I've preferred lip glosses so much lately. An absolute favourite of mine is the Tanya Burr in Chic, this is such a nice nude and I love how it isn't tacky or sticky at all.
Why didn't I discover Barry M lip glosses before I don't know! These are so nice and the scent is to die for! Mines in the shade 233.
Lastly in my makeup bag is the Sexy mother pucker lip lacquer in Charm Offensive, this is a stunning lip lacquer in a your lip but better colour!

That's all that's in my makeup bag at the moment! I hope you enjoyed this post!

Best of Benefit | Highend Beauty

Hi beauts.

It feels like I haven't done one of these posts in ages, which is true. I haven't done one since before Christmas! Benefit is a brand I love and have for a while now, I own way too much though..

The famous They're Real mascara obviously has to make an appearance in this post! I love how beautiful this makes my lashes look without looking to full on. This does everything a mascara should do and I'm completely in love. This is on the more pricey side but it's so worth it.

The Hoola bronzer is my favourite benefit product! It's brilliant for contouring, just bronzing and even for eye shadow. I love wearing this alone on my eyelids for a really natural look. This is perfect for me due to my pale skin.

The dandelion set! This is so stunning and I love all the product inside! It's all really subtle so is perfect for school. I use the high beam and posie tint for school a lot as it looks so natural. My favourite out of all of the products is the dandelion lip-gloss! It has a really nice scent and isn't sticky or tacky.

Sorry this was such a short post but I'm really stuck for ideas lately, so feel free to tweet me some ideas @kieramurrrellxo

Revolution - Pro Fix Makeup Fixing Spray | Review

Hi beauties!

Today I'm going to be reviewing a product I have a lot of love for. The Revolution pro fix makeup fixing spray - cor that was a mouthful to type and say in my head ha!

I've been on the hunt for a setting spray since the beginning of my makeup wearing era, all of them were to overpriced for my liking or made my skin look a gazillion times more shiny than it is.

In Superdrug about a month or so ago I found this one and it was only a fiver so obviously I wasn't saying no to that bargain! I didn't expect any special if I'm honest and I'm still surprised at how much I love it!

I spray this from about 8-10 inches away from my face. It doesn't feel to wet or sticky when it's spritzed onto the face. It dries naturally and gives a lovely glow without making me look shiny.

So far so good right? Things get better! The lasting power is brilliant! I didn't expect this to keep my makeup in place ALL DAY.. but it does. I was so impressed! I spray this on my face at about 8am in the morning and it stills looks perfect at bed time when I go to take my makeup off. Even with a  decent primer my makeup never lasted however with this it does!

As you can see this is a much loved product in my makeup collection. I recommend this if your makeup likes to sink into your skin like mine usually does!

Also I have a new bloglovin' as my old one kept crashing! My names kieramurrell !

MOMENT | #bloggersgrouphug

Hello lovelies! I am finally back with my bloggers group hug posts. These are one of my favourite posts to do! Todays word is 'MOMENT'.

Moment definition: A very brief period of time.

Throughout my life time I have had so many wonderful moments in my life, many I will never forget. Already this year I have been through so many moments that have blown me away, the MOST exciting being my sister Madeline's baby being due TOMORROW, TOMORROW! I cant wait for my second niece or nephew to be here.

My most favourite moment of last year was Summer Time Ball, that's still by far one of my favourite days. It was such a beautiful day and the vibe was brilliant! Me and my family cant wait to go again this year!

Of course I cant forget my birthday! My friends made that moment so special for me and I will never forget it:).

Here's a few pictures from some of my favourite moments -

Something Personal | Insecurites

Hi beauts.

On Thursday I took part in the #CrazyBloggers chat on twitter and it inspired me to write this post. One of the questions was 'What would you be doing differently if you could zap away all your insecurities as a blogger?'. It kind of upset me when I saw a lot of the answers being quite similar, including mine. All of these answers was to talk about our insecurities on our blog and not care about what people we now think.  Something I have abided by for quite a long time.

I decided to bite the bullet and go for it, today I'm going to share some of my insecurities with you all.

My biggest insecurity is change, I like to stick things I know and not really venture out of my comfort zone which isn't something I'm proud of but its what makes me feel comfortable. Especially when my parents got divorced, the whole having two homes was un-natural to me and I didn't like the idea of it at all. For the first year I found it extremely hard and it knocked me down a lot. I'm such a happy person but around this time I feel like I formed a little shell and didn't leave it until it became 'normal'.

Another one of my insecurities is weight, I know so cliché. Its true though. I'm not happy with my weight but its something I'm coming to terms with. I have been working out a lot and eating a better diet. I've been eating so much healthier lately and its helped my skin and my hair too! Weights something quite personal to everyone and if your happy with your weight then I take my hat of to you.

One thing you guys may find stupid but my last insecurity is uploading whatever I want on here. I have drafted so many posts and chickened out at last minute deleting them. The reason for this is me worrying about what people will think, however from now on I will try to not click delete and instead click upload. At the end of the day this is my blog and I shouldn't let others influence what gets uploaded and what doesn't.

School Makeup Look | Makeup for begginers

Hi beauts. I know when you first start of with makeup wearing it to school can seem like quite a big thing and choosing products that will create a minimal look can be a tough decision. I've been wearing makeup at school for two years now so I've discovered the perfect products in order to create a minimal look.

To start I prime my face, this is super important in my opinion as it minimises pores and keeps my makeup in place all day. I usually go for a matte one however this baby skin one isn't made to mattify makeup but it does the job.

I've spoke about this product way too many times but its my dream pure BB cream. I love this bb cream so much, it gives the perfect amount of coverage for school and still looks natural. Maybelline cater for all skin types in their bb cream range, which I personally think is a great idea.

Of course I'm going to mention my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, this is the perfect concealer for nasty blemishes and hiding under eye circles. A new addition has been my MUA cover and conceal, I use this to highlight my nose and above my eyebrows.

Unfortunately I don't have naturally filled in eyebrows...blonde problems. So I do fill them in but as I'm only going to school I just use this brow gel for a quick fill in and I know they wont budge all day.

Something that doesn't always look as natural is eyelashes but they've got to be done. I have been using my S&G thick and fast mascara lately. This thickens my lashes and always gives them a boost of volume.

Although my skin isn't looking as oily at this stage, just to be safe I still go in with my Maybelline matte powder just to be sure that I don't get shiny at all throughout the day. I've actually begun to prefer this over Rimmels stay matte which is a surprise.

Lastly to add some colour and definition to my face I go in with Benefits Hoola bronzer, this is matte so doesn't look obvious at all. I prefer bronzing my face over using blusher for school because otherwise I look ghostly. Blusher doesn't help in all honesty.

I hope this helped some of you that are wanting to get into wearing makeup for school.

Kiera ♥

3 Step Guide To Clearer Skin.

Hi beauts. Clearing up the skin is on a lot of peoples New Years Resolutions and I know how hard it can be to get the kick up the bum we need to start clearing it up. A lot of people think making one slight change will make a difference when in fact it doesn't.

Step one :

Set yourself a good skin care routine, everything in my skincare routine is actually from simple and the only reason for this is because they are the only brand that really caters for my skin. I start of by using the 'purifying cleansing lotion' this is super cleansing *durh kiera* and leaves my skin feeling so soft and clean after. I then go in with my 'soothing facial toner' which is so refreshing and is perfect for giving your skin a deep clean. Lastly I use a product I was a little wary of before, its the 'hydrating light moisturiser' usually if a product says ' hydrating' I instantly say no as I presume its going to make my skin even more oily. However that's not the case here, this moisturiser hasn't made skin any worse in the oily department. Thank God.  Over all since setting myself this little skincare routine my skin has really started to clear up and so has the oiliness! I don't use any other products besides from these in my routine now.

Step two :

Treat your skin. Your skin deserves a little something extra every now and then.  Lately I have been using the Berry Berry Detox Mask by Dirty Works about two or three times a week. After using this my skin has such a beautiful radiant glow. This helps clear out my skin so much and I have never been so happy with the outcome of my skin after using a face mask.

Step three :

Drink more water! This is an essential when clearing up skin, everybody needs water to help improve their skin. My mum recently got me this cup with a little holder in the middle for fruit to give you flavoured water without all the added sugar etc. Lately I have been trying to drink one or two of these a day and its been helping so much. Plain tap water will do the same trick to but reaching for plain water doesn't seem as exciting as reaching for flavoured water in this cute little cup.

Leave me a comment telling me how you've cleared up your skin lately!

A few to try | Beauty Bits

Hi beauts. I know a lot of you are constantly searching through the January sales looking for some new bits to try and I thought I'd help you out by sharing a few products I highly recommend! Today I'm going to share a few beauty bits and next week I'll share a few bath bits.

I've never enjoyed a bronzer so much, usually I dislike bronzers and stick to the blushers and highlighters. However when I was gifted this Hoola one back in my birthday my first thought was 'It's going to make me look cakey'. This wasn't the case surprisingly its a matte bronzer and is super buildable. If your like me and quite fair skinned then this is one for you. No matter how much you build it, it doesn't start to look orange at all.

This is my favourite product, ever. This is a lip lacquer so its pigmented with the beautiful glossy feel of a lip gloss.  Lately I have found myself reaching for this everyday and it has become my statement lip colour. It lasts so well.

I struggle to find a foundation that suits me, so bad. This is one thing I struggle with the most when it comes to makeup shopping. My mum has used this one for a long time and I recently decided to pick up my own, in my own shade! The coverage of this is amazing! I get so many compliments on my skin when I wear this. This actually suits my skin and I love it so much! I recommend this to anyone!

Upping my game in blogging | Resolutions 2015

Hi beauts, first of all Happy New Year!

I don't really like setting myself resolutions because when it comes to the end of the year and I haven't achieved them I feel like I've let myself down.  Yet I still set them anyway. In 2015 I actually want to achieve my resolutions.. she says that now.

This year I don't want to go on diets or try and lose weight, I just want to gain a healthier life style. I don't eat too bad in all fairness to myself, however I could do better! I skip out breakfast a lot of the time and that doesn't really help. So I want to make sure I eat breakfast everyday, I will try! I also want to exercise, but to my limit. Not anybody else's, often when I work out with others I push myself too hard and overwork myself. In 2015 I want to work at my own pace and do exercise as many times as I want too.

I waste so much money on things I don't need, make up basically. I always see things I like the look of and buy them but then they just sit in my draw and never get touched. Then I moan about having no money. I've made a pledge to myself to not buy things I don't need. I'm going to try and only buy things when I actually need them!

I can go hours without drinking and it wouldn't affect me. I need to start drinking a lot of more water, not only to keep me hydrated but also to clear up the skin. I don't even know if this one will get achieved because I just always forget to make myself a drink..

I want to up my followers on here, I'm always looking for new ways to improve my blog and this is one thing I really want to get done by the end of this year! I'm not looking to make this blog a huge deal and I'm not expecting to turn into the next Zoella however I do still want to up my followers.

There a few of my resolution's for this year. I hope you all have a lovely New Years Day!
