Wilko Apricot Lip Scrub

Hey lovelies! Today I wanted to share with you all one of my new all time favourite lip products, that being this gorgeous lip scrub from Wilkinson's. I jumped on the bandwagon of the Lush lip scrubs a few months back and I was disappointed to say the least. I didn't really like any of the scents, they were too sickly or too stale tasting. I know they are a scrub  but they have no moisture to them so it felt a little too rough for me. My lips have been in need of a good scrubbing for a while but I've never found one that works.

Recently I picked this little beauty up for only £2!! I couldn't walk away without it in my basket, the scent/flavour lured me in the most to be honest. I've never seen a fruity lip scrub so I couldn't wait to try this out. This smells and tastes amazing(yes I do lick it off my lips, possibly not that good for you to do but it cant be helped).

The texture of this is super fine, the sugar granules are tiny so its not at all too harsh or rough. When you rub this on your lips you can really feel it getting rid of the dead skin, but you can also feel your lips becoming moisturised and super soft. You can definitely feel the oil coming through this, not so much that's its greasy but just the right amount. I usually put a tiny bit on one finger and that does the whole of my lips for me so you really don't need a lot. This is perfect to apply before a lip balm or lipstick, particularly matte lipsticks as they can sometimes cling to dead skin and its not a classy look.

Wilkinson's beauty range is still new and growing but I do hope they add more scents to there line because Apricot probably doesn't appeal to everyone so if they added a few more scents then a lot  more people would benefit from these scrubs.

For £2 you cant go wrong, this is definitely worth the price! Your lips even look a little more plumbed after this, so there's no need to suck on a shot glass anymore.. One thing I would say is try not to over use it, I'm talking every hour because I did that with a lip scrub before and caused my lips to bleed..  I hope this soothes your chapped lips especially since winter is just around the corner! Pair this with your favourite lip balm and your lips are in for a good old treat.

My favourite combo : Apricot Lip Scrub & Vaseline Rosy Lips
